Cactus Flats

Wide view of the Cactus Flats panel along the base of a sandstone cliff, with faded red figures above a rocky slope

Much if not most of this site has eroded away due to spalling of the rock.

Red Barrier Canyon Style figures beside a large dark dog-like animal with two white spots, and a horned figure

The anthropomorphic figure on the right may be holding a flute, or it could be a snake. The animal with the circular white spots is presumed a dog because of the curved tail. The white dots may have been done later by others. Note that the figure next to the dog appears to have been pecked at in the groin area.

Long dotted red lines above thin vertical figures on a streaked sandstone wall

Most of this is a mystery but I like the figure with an animal head, his legs are interesting.

Small faded red figures and striped marks on ledges of layered sandstone below an overhang

There's a lot of birds in this image, and a rain cloud on the left.

Rows of drilled holes, grooves and footprint shapes in the rock below the panel

They put holes, lines, and footprints in the rock below the panel.
